My Happiness Project

So Christmas is officially 2 days away and since, next Sunday is the last post for 2018, I figured I would write today about my Happiness project for 2019.

2018 was a year of self reflection, self care and all around about me. I took time to focus on myself and implemented a whole wack of new self care routines to get my self in check. I still will be focusing on this in 2019 but have established some goals in order to make my life a little more organized.

A few months ago, I read Gretchen Rubin’s book “The Happiness Project”. It is actually what spurred me to getting in the mindset of launching the blog. It motivated me to start my own happiness project in 2019. Basically, if you haven’t read the book, each month focuses on a different goal. Within that month are mini goals that help you reach the bigger goal. As each new month comes, you add on the new goal while still doing the goals from the previous month. Sounds challenging right? But, they are realistic goals, that are easy to implement and something as simple as trying to drink more water, which is both attainable and seems easy.

Also, I figure that by posting my goals online, it will some how manage to hold me more accountable.
